Les résultats des essais cliniques, thérapeutiques ou de prévention demeurent décevants. Une des raisons est le refus des personnes à participer à ces essais. Une approche pluridisciplinaire est nécessaire pour comprendre ces réticences. Le gérontopôle de Toulouse en fait un sujet de recherche.
